I created this post in the Florida Satanists group in response to a specific man who joined the Florida Satanists group.

Thank you for your directness and transparency. I am sad that you have only found scams. Many....many men go onto sites like GSB and say "I want guidance", "I want a mentor", but they either do not find it (their posts become dead ends that no one every responds to but it gets some "likes"), or they wind up with scam artists. I have seen both. I have also seen hundreds of men post "I want guidance", but when you ask them, what they really want is a sex scene where they get their ass fucked or get a dick to suck on. Do you know how many pics of assholes we all have seen online? I love a good asshole to fuck, but its meaningless to me if the heart and brain attached to that hole is not consciously connected to Satan.

A few thoughts to you, and others who may be reading this:

This thing of being a Satanist is both complex and simple. Simple in that it requires only an act of will and a commitment to action. Complex in that there is a question of what is "right action" in Satanism? As I have said to many: you put 100 Satanists in a room and you will have 100 versions of Satanism, that is because Satan 'speaks' to the individual mind. We each have a different inner Shadow. It is to that Shadow Self that is in each of us that Satan will speak. The Inner Shadow Self is also a source of great power, but it is also a source of a lot of potential problems: addiction, maladaptive behaviors, maladaptive relationships. If tapped into correctly it can create many desired things: prosperity, sex, relationships, good times. Most only see the dick and that's all they see and they do not master that - it masters them and they wonder why they are stuck in themselves.

Most, but not all, in here have the perspective that Satanism is only about sex or only about drugs....and that then is what it is for them. From my experience, observation...nothing could be further from the truth of Satan / Satanism. But then again, there are Satanists out there who would say I am deluded, but then again, its all a very individualized path and that is my perspective.

You are in Tampa, which is a great place to be because you have proximity and the possibility of physical access to local Satanists in your area, including members of the GSB.

I run a group, a coven, here in Fort Lauderdale. We are just starting out. We are just learning basic Witchcraft. In addition to that, there is a local [bisexual-straight] Satanic Magus who is a close friend of mine here in Broward County that he and I talk regularly. In Tampa, lives the founder of a Satanic Tradition called the "Magnum Opus", which is run by a now old straight / heterosexual man called "Aleister Nacht". Magnum Opus is a true Brotherhood. I would strongly...STRONGLY....recommend any of Aleister Nacht's YouTube videos or books or audiobooks to you to learn more about Theistic Satanism as he teaches it. My local Magus here is one of AN's proteges.

There is another highly reputable Theistic Satanic organization called the Brotherhood of Satan-USA immediately north of Atlanta, Georgia. The head of that order is a straight guy, Lord Druwidion (I'm sure I'm misspelling his name here). You can find them on Facebook. They also have a website: Brotherhood of Satan, USA. They are a mostly straight group, but many LGBTQs are in that tradition. Any of their teachers would be a great resource. They do require a blood oath, which may or may not be an issue with you. They also require a one-time $200 registration fee, because they have to cover administrative costs, but that is the only cost I know of with that group. They are a great resource. They are a true Brotherhood.

Those are the Satanic groups that I feel safest with. There are some out there that I would recommend against joining but maybe only to look at to understand them. One site that comes to mind is the Joy of Satan site: Joy of Satanas  

You want to read through that carefully and sift through their stuff. Some of their material feels extreme.

Avoid extremes. Avoid anything illegal. It is easy to get carried away with lust and say, "YEAH! FUCK EVERYTHING! FUCK EVERYONE!". If you need to drop into that space while you're watching porn, then do it, but make sure you ground yourself back into reality. It is easy to get lost in that hypnotized world of porn and posts and "HAIL SATAN!". Satan is, for me, about personal power and magick and staying in control.

I like a lot of the material that the owner / administrator of the GSB, Malick Zaldron, has posted here in the Extras, "The Black Room". I would also recommend reading his materials.

Another GREAT book: "Lords of the Left Hand Path" by Stephen Flowers. This is a scholarly work and the first part of the book really does a great explanation of what the "Left Hand Path" is all about.

For you: read lots, ask lots of questions, question anything anyone tells you about Satanism....including me. Do not hesitate to call "bullshit" when you hear or read it.
