GSB is operated from Italy by an individual publicly operating the Service under the name Malick Zaldron ("GSB").

GSB uses Wix as the platform and technical infrastructure through which the Service is provided. As a result, certain personal data and technical information may also be processed by Wix and its service providers as necessary to host, secure and operate the Service.

1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

 

The personal data processed in connection with GSB depends on how you use the Service and which features you choose to use.

When you create a GSB account, the information required for registration is limited to your email address, password and confirmation that you are an adult. Passwords and authentication functions are managed through the Wix platform; GSB does not have access to your password.

After registration, you may voluntarily add information to your member profile, including a nickname, profile picture, city or country, and interests. This information is optional and is not required to maintain a GSB account.

When you use community and interactive features, GSB may process content that you voluntarily submit, including posts, comments, text, photographs, images, videos and other User Content.

When you submit a form through GSB, the information processed generally consists of the text or other content you choose to submit. Forms may be associated with your registered account without requiring you to provide your email address again. Where a form allows you to provide a nickname, doing so is optional unless expressly indicated otherwise.

Technical information necessary for the operation and security of the Service may also be processed through Wix, including information about your device, browser, interactions with the Service, approximate location, cookies and similar technical data. GSB may have access to aggregated or approximate information about visits and usage but does not ordinarily have direct access through Wix to the IP addresses of individual members.

GSB does not require or collect identity documents as part of registration or ordinary use of the Service.

 

2. HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

 

GSB processes personal data only where necessary for the operation, administration and development of the Service, or for other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal data may be used to:

• create, maintain and secure your GSB account;

• allow you to create and manage your member profile;

• provide access to members-only areas, features and content;

• enable community features, including posts, comments, groups, chats and other interactions between members;

• receive and manage content, requests and submissions sent through forms;

• administer access to reserved areas and content;

• communicate with you about your account, the Service and features you use;

• send notifications or communications where these are enabled;

• moderate User Content and enforce the GSB Terms of Service;

• respond to support, privacy, account deletion and other requests;

• maintain the security and proper functioning of the Service;

• prevent or address abuse, fraud, unauthorized access and violations of the Terms of Service;

• understand, through statistics made available by Wix, how the Service is used and how it may be improved;

• comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.

GSB does not sell personal data, does not provide personal data to advertisers, and does not use member data for third-party advertising.

GSB does not use personal data or User Content to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems.

3. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

GSB processes personal data only where there is an appropriate legal basis under applicable data protection law.

Depending on the purpose and circumstances, processing may be based on:

• Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request: where processing is necessary to create and maintain your account, provide the features you choose to use, manage your profile, enable community functionality or provide access to GSB services and content.

• Legitimate interests: where processing is reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure and improve GSB, prevent abuse, moderate the Service, respond to requests and protect GSB, its members and third parties, provided that those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

• Consent: where GSB asks for your consent for a specific processing activity, including where consent is required for non-essential cookies or particular communications. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

• Legal obligations: where processing is necessary for GSB to comply with obligations imposed by applicable law or to respond to valid requests from competent authorities.

Some information that members voluntarily choose to include in profiles, posts, messages or other User Content may reveal sensitive aspects of their identity, beliefs, sexuality or private life. GSB does not require members to provide such information as a condition of registration.

Where the processing of information voluntarily provided by a member constitutes processing of special categories of personal data under applicable law, GSB will process such information only where an appropriate legal basis and an applicable condition for such processing exist.

 

4. MEMBER PROFILES AND VISIBILITY

 

Registered members may choose to create a profile and voluntarily provide information such as a nickname, profile picture, city or country, and interests.

Providing this information is optional.

Member profiles are not intended to be publicly accessible to visitors outside the registered GSB community. Depending on the privacy settings available through the Service, members may also choose to keep their profile private and not make it visible to other members.

Information that you choose to make visible through your member profile may be seen by other registered members according to the privacy settings you select.

You are responsible for deciding what information you wish to include in your profile. You should avoid providing information that you do not want other members within the permitted audience to see.

GSB does not require members to provide their real name, exact home address or precise location as part of their public member profile.

 

5. USER CONTENT AND COMMUNITY FEATURES

GSB provides community and interactive features through which registered members may voluntarily submit and share text, posts, comments, images, photographs, videos and other content.

The visibility of User Content depends on the feature through which it is submitted. Some content may be visible to other registered members, to members of a particular group or area, or to another audience indicated by the relevant feature.

Before submitting User Content, you should consider the audience with whom it will be shared. Information that you voluntarily include in User Content may constitute personal data and may reveal information about your identity, interests, beliefs, sexuality or private life.

GSB does not require you to disclose such sensitive information in order to participate in the community.

Other members who are able to view User Content may potentially save, copy or redistribute information made available to them. Although such conduct may violate the GSB Terms of Service or applicable law, GSB cannot technically guarantee that content viewed by another member will not be copied or retained.

GSB may access and process User Content available through the administrative and moderation functions provided by Wix where necessary to operate and moderate the Service, enforce the Terms of Service, respond to reports or comply with applicable law.

 

6. PRIVATE MEMBER COMMUNICATIONS

 

GSB may provide private communication features that allow registered members to communicate directly with one another.

Private member chats are provided through the Wix platform. GSB does not have access through its administrative interface to the content of private conversations between members and does not routinely read, monitor or store separate copies of those conversations.

Private communications may nevertheless be technically processed and stored by Wix as necessary to provide the relevant communication features, subject to Wix's applicable data-processing and security practices.

Members are responsible for the information and content they choose to share in private communications and should exercise appropriate caution when sharing personal, sensitive or intimate information with other members.

GSB cannot control what a recipient may do with information or content voluntarily shared with them through a private conversation.

 

7. GSB MAP AND LOCATION INFORMATION

 

GSB may provide a member map or similar feature that allows registered members to voluntarily indicate a geographical location.

Participation in the GSB Map is optional. GSB does not require members to provide their home address, exact location or current physical position.

Members who choose to participate may provide a country and city or another city or location of reference of their choice. The location provided does not need to correspond to the member's actual place of residence.

The GSB Map does not use GPS or other precise device geolocation to determine a member's location. Information displayed through the feature is based on information voluntarily provided by the member.

Location information submitted for this purpose is used to provide the relevant GSB Map functionality and may be visible to other registered members according to the design of that feature.

Members may request the removal of information they have voluntarily submitted to the GSB Map using the contact methods provided by GSB.

 

8. EMAILS, NEWSLETTERS AND NOTIFICATIONS

 

GSB may send emails relating to your account, the operation of the Service, community features, updates and other GSB content.

Certain operational emails may be necessary to provide or secure your account, for example communications concerning registration, account access, security or password recovery.

Wix may also provide automated notifications relating to features or activity within the Service. The availability and frequency of these notifications may depend on the relevant Wix functionality and your notification preferences.

GSB may send newsletters or other non-essential communications concerning news, new content and developments within GSB. Where required by applicable law, such communications will be sent on an appropriate legal basis.

Where an email or notification is optional, you may unsubscribe or change your communication preferences using the unsubscribe link contained in the relevant email or the notification and subscription settings made available through the Service.

Unsubscribing from optional communications does not necessarily prevent GSB or Wix from sending essential administrative, security or account-related communications that are necessary for the operation of your account.

9. DONATIONS AND PAYPAL

 

GSB accepts voluntary, one-time financial contributions through PayPal. Contributions are not recurring automatically through GSB.

Payment transactions are processed by PayPal. GSB does not collect, receive or store your credit or debit card number, bank account details or PayPal password.

Depending on the information associated with the transaction and made available by PayPal, GSB may be able to see information such as the name or email address associated with the payment, the amount contributed and information necessary to identify the transaction.

GSB does not copy payment-related personal information obtained from PayPal into its own member databases or disclose it to other members or the public.

PayPal maintains its own records of transactions and processes personal data independently in accordance with its own terms, privacy practices and applicable legal obligations.

Where a contribution is associated with access to reserved GSB content, GSB may separately record the relevant access information using the member's nickname or account information in order to administer that access.

 

10. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

 

GSB uses cookies and similar technologies through the Wix platform to operate the Service.

Some cookies are essential for the website to function correctly and may be used for purposes such as security, authentication, member login, network management and maintaining user preferences. These cookies cannot generally be disabled through the GSB cookie settings where they are strictly necessary for the provision of the Service.

Other cookies may be used for functional or statistical purposes, including understanding how visitors use the Service and providing aggregated information about website activity.

Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies are used only according to the preferences selected through the cookie consent banner displayed when you visit GSB.

GSB uses the statistical and technical information made available through the Wix platform to understand the general use and performance of the Service.

GSB does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other independently installed third-party analytics or advertising tracking services.

Through the ordinary Wix administrative interface, GSB may view approximate geographical information concerning website activity, including activity occurring in real time. This information is not presented to GSB as the precise physical location of an identified member.

Wix may process additional technical information, including IP addresses and device or connection data, where necessary to provide, secure, maintain and analyze its platform.

GSB uses the statistics available to it primarily to understand how the Service is being used, identify technical or operational issues and improve GSB and its content.

12. WIX AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

​

GSB is created, hosted and operated using the Wix platform. Wix therefore processes certain personal data and technical information as necessary to provide the infrastructure, hosting, member accounts, databases, community features, communications, security and other functionality used by GSB.

Depending on the relevant functionality, Wix may process data on behalf of GSB and may also process certain information for its own legitimate purposes and legal obligations in accordance with its privacy documentation.

Wix may use affiliated companies and authorized service providers to provide its infrastructure and services. As a result, personal data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area.

Where required by applicable data protection law, international transfers of personal data are subject to appropriate safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

GSB does not sell member personal data to Wix or to other third parties. Wix's involvement results from its role as the platform and technical service provider used to operate GSB.

GSB does not currently use separate external databases, advertising platforms, analytics services or other third-party services to process member data beyond services necessary for the operation of the website and payment processing as described in this Privacy Policy.

13. HOW LONG WE KEEP PERSONAL DATA

GSB retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to operate the Service, manage accounts and community features, protect the Service and its members, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Account information is generally retained for as long as your GSB account remains active.

If you request deletion of your account, GSB will delete the member profile and remove the corresponding contact from the GSB contact list. Information that you voluntarily submitted to GSB-managed features or databases, such as the GSB Map, will also be removed where it can reasonably be identified as belonging to your account.

Some posts, comments or other contributions made within Wix community features may remain after account deletion where the platform retains them independently from the deleted member profile. In such cases, they may appear as having been submitted by “Anonymous” or otherwise without the former member profile being displayed.

Where particular remaining content still constitutes personal data or allows you to be identified, you may contact GSB to request its removal or exercise your applicable data protection rights.

Certain information may be retained for a longer period where reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, protect legal rights, prevent abuse, or where deletion is technically subject to Wix's own retention and backup processes.

A banned account is not considered a deleted account. Where an account is suspended or banned for violations of the GSB Terms of Service, account information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain the restriction, protect the Service and its members, and prevent repeated abuse.

14. ACCOUNT DELETION AND YOUR DATA

You may request the deletion of your GSB account at any time using the dedicated account deletion form available through the Service.

Account deletion is processed manually by GSB using the account-management tools provided by Wix.

When your deletion request is processed, GSB will delete your member account and profile, remove your contact from the GSB contact list and, where applicable, manually remove information associated with your account from GSB-managed databases and features.

As explained in this Privacy Policy, certain posts, comments or other contributions made through Wix community features may remain after account deletion and may subsequently appear as having been submitted by “Anonymous” or without a link to your former member profile.

Account deletion does not necessarily result in the immediate deletion of every technical record or backup maintained by Wix or another service provider where such retention is necessary for security, legal, technical or backup purposes.

If, after deletion of your account, you identify remaining content that contains your personal data or allows you to be identified, you may contact GSB at mzaldron@gmail.com to request that the content be reviewed and, where applicable, removed.

15. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

If the GDPR or other applicable data protection law applies to you, you may have rights concerning the personal data processed about you.

GSB processes such information only to the extent necessary to provide the feature through which you chose to submit it, operate and moderate the Service, respond to your requests, or otherwise where permitted by applicable data protection law.

You are never required to disclose sensitive personal information merely because you are a member of GSB, and you should only share information that you are comfortable making available to the intended audience.
