My partner has always struggled with fully releasing verbally the darkest desires within him. His primary attractions are rooted in things that society still condemns, and it was hard for him to believe that others would accept him, as he truly was...let alone EMBRACE and CELEBRATE him. When we met things shifted for him. He was struggling with addiction, and had lost his own power. As we grew closer, I was able to show him the kind of empowering Love that DID celebrate EVERY part of him...and every desire that he had! He was able to verbally articulate the things that he craved, and being able to SAY those things to another person, was PROFOUNDLY liberating for him. Does this mean that everything was fixed? Sadly, far from it... Yet he was able to start down this path of truly loving his self (including the deepest and darkest part of the Shadow self), by knowing that someone else sees ALL of him, and adores him not in spite of himself, but BECAUSE of himself. This is where meeting others, and sharing one's true self becomes sooo important! Even if these souls may not share your explicit desires, when they are on enough of a similar plane, to encourage u, to EMBRACE u, something TRULY magical happens. I feel that this is where we are able to share the LOVE of our Father in LUST and POWER (call him by whatever name u wish), with all of his children! 😈💙
