New to the scene
Hello,
I live in south central Idaho and am fairly new to the scene although I have had a desire for darker things for a while now. I have recently started to really embrace my inner longings and started using chems to go deeper. Anyone have any guidance they are willing to share?

Gladly. First and foremost bear in mind that there are two versions of Satanism. One is a the phoney version created and pushed by Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson and others like them in the 1980's which became part of pop culture "knowledge" of the subject. The second is actual Satanism, which has nothing to do with the pop culture version. The pop culture version with its obsession over violence, death, destruction (of self and others), blood sacrifice, extreme/excessive drug use, etc. is all made up and mainly drawn from the darkest parts of Judeo-Christian history. Many who proport (more "pretend") to be Satanists have no more read on the subject or its history than most Southern Baptists and Televangelist followers claiming to be Christians.
That said, Chems do have their place but they should be used as an enhancement to an experience not as a crutch, substitute or deflection for discovering yourself and your Left Hand Path experience. Too many guys struggle with guilt and shame drilled into them from childhood without seeing it as the cause of the cognitive dissonance between what they have been brainwashed into believing about their bodies and sexual indulgence and their DNA based drive for it. This religious based sexual dogma is an affliction on all of society, hetero and homo-sexual alike.
So, explore the Left Hand Path, but do some actual reading on it. Satanism is just as much about Intellectual development as it is about Lustful development--the two things that define our humanity but are most aggressively denied and repressed by the religious power structure. Develop both. Just drowning yourself in drugs and pissing on a Bible isn't self discovery or development; it's denial and avoidance made manifest in ways just as toxic fruitless as anything the Southern Baptists have ever come up with.
